Birth of the Prophet ﷺ

Born in Makkah al-Mukarramah on Monday, 12th Rabi al-Awwal. Orphaned at a young age, raised by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, and then his uncle Abu Talib.

610 CE — Age 40

First Revelation in Cave Hira

Angel Jibreel (عليه السلام) appeared with the first verses: "Iqra! Read in the name of your Lord who created." (Surah Al-Alaq, 96:1)

613 CE — 3 Years After Revelation

Public Da'wah Begins

After three years of secret da'wah, the Prophet ﷺ was commanded to proclaim the message publicly. The Quraysh intensified their persecution.

621 CE — Night Journey

Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj

The miraculous night journey from Makkah to Jerusalem (al-Aqsa), and the ascension through the heavens where the five daily prayers were prescribed.

622 CE — The Migration

Hijrah to Madinah

Battle of Badr

Conquest of Makkah

The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah peacefully with 10,000 companions, cleansed the Ka'bah of 360 idols, and forgave the people of Quraysh — a supreme act of mercy.

Farewell Hajj & Passing

The final pilgrimage and the famous Farewell Sermon. The Prophet ﷺ passed away on Monday, 12th Rabi al-Awwal, 11 AH, in Madinah al-Munawwarah.
